8648 Handmade ROBERT EVANS Cowboy Spurs
This is a lightly used pair of handmade single mounted spurs made by Robert Evans. Robert is a bit and spur maker originally from Amarillo, Texas. His work is illustrated in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. Robert has been building bits, spurs, and cowboy hardware since 1994. The spurs are marked Evans 1446. The steel has a natural patina and they are mounted with eighteen pieces of nickel silver. These spurs would be a great pair of spurs to use or to add to a collection.
