10690 New Handmade RACHEL SCRIBNER Spur Straps DAVID HUNT Buckles

This is a new pair of handmade spur straps made by Rachel Scribner from Madill, Oklahoma. They are stamped with her maker stamp.  Rachel does quality work.  They are made of about ten to eleven ounce skirting leather stamped with a basket weave pattern. The strap edges are beveled, hand rubbed, and dyed. The buckles were made by David Hunt.  David is a long time bit and spur maker from Panhandle, Texas.  They are marked HUNT and with his brand a joined 7H.  They are steel mounted with nickel silver on the sides and copper dots.  There is engraving in the steel between the mountings. The buckles are attached to the straps with chicago screws. Rachel and David do a nice job and these would be a nice pair of straps to wear or to use to display with your collectible spurs.
