10686 Vintage Brass Oxbow Stirrups Mounted by David Hunt
This is a nice pair of vintage brass oxbow stirrups mounted by contemporary bit and spur maker David Hunt from Panhandle, Texas. They are mounted with twelve pieces of engraved nickel silver in a chevron pattern. They are heavy pair of stirrups and the brass is flat on the outside and rounded on the inside. The brass is shiny so it is hard to get good pictures. They look much better in person. This would be a nice pair of stirrups to use.
Measurements: Neck 3”, Inside Height 5”, Inside Width 5 ⅛”, Tread a little less than 1”, Brass Thickness ⅜”, Weight of both stirrups 3 pounds 6 ounces
