10595 New Handmade Don Pierce Miniature Double Mounted Spurs with Casey Jordan Straps
This is a pair of miniature spurs made by Don Pierce. They are marked PIERCE and his trademark longhorn on the outside of the heel bands. Don is a bit and spur maker from Golden, Colorado. He is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen & Mike Graham. Don learned bit and spur making from Gene Rogers in Golden, Colorado. Don has been making bits and spurs since 2001. The spurs are steel and are mounted with nickel silver and brass. The spur straps were made by Casey Jordan. Casey is from Phoenix, Arizona and has won several awards for his leather work and his work is also displayed in the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. He won the 2009 Art of the Cowboy Makers Champion Saddle Maker and the People’s Choice Saddle Maker. The straps are marked with Casey’s maker stamp. A picture is included that shows the spurs with a pair of regular size spurs so you can get an idea of the size.
