10483 Native American Glendora Fragua Daubs Jemez Pottery
This is a pot made by Glendora Fragua Daubs and is signed on the bottom with a cornstalk, her name and Jemez. It still has the price sticker from when it was purchased from the gallery many years ago. She has won numerous awards including the "Best of Pottery" award in 1997 at the Gallup Indian Ceremonial. She is the daughter of well known Jemez potter Juanita Fragua. All of her work is entirely handmade and no potter's wheel is used at any time. Glendora collects the clay and fires the pieces on the pueblo property. This would be a nice piece to add to a collection.
