10122 Handmade DAVE RANDOL Sterling Silver Mounted Bit
This is a lightly used handmade bit made by Dave Randol. Dave is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. Dave lives near Cody, Wyoming in Meeteetse, Wyoming. Dave started building in 1988 and attended the Miller Bit and Spur School to refine his skills. The bit is marked Randol and with his brand inside the cheek piece. The bit is steel and the steel is beginning to rust. It is mounted with engraved sterling silver. It has a copper hood on the port and a copper cricket. It is a lighter made bit. This would be a nice to use or to add to a collection.
