10096 New Handmade TY BARTON Tear Drop Style Floral Carved Spur Straps DON ROGERS Buckles
This is an outstanding pair of new handmade lined stitched floral carved Ty Barton tear drop style spur straps with handmade buckles made by long time bit and spur maker Don Rogers of Hereford, Texas. Don has been building since 1975 and his work is sought after by cowboys and collectors alike. Don is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. The spur straps were made by Ty Barton Saddlery located in Globe, Arizona. They are marked with his maker stamp. Ty carves the prettiest flower. They really pop. They are exceptional straps with nice deep carving made out skirting leather. The edges are beveled and hand rubbed. The buckles are attached to the straps with chicago screws. The buckles are steel mounted with nickel silver, brass, and copper. They are marked Rogers. These would make an awesome pair of straps to display in your collection or could also be worn.
