10048 Handmade BOB COOK Sterling Silver Mounted Solid Shank Curb Bit
This is a handmade bit in unused condition made by the late Bob Cook (1949 – 1994). It is marked with his maker mark Cook and numbered 93. It is beautifully engraved. Mr. Cook built bits and spurs and from 1967 to 1994. His shop was located in Granbury, Texas and owned Cook’s Custom Spur Shop. He is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles and Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. The bit is steel and the sterling has a patina on it. We left it as is but should polish up nicely. This would be a nice bit to use or to add to a collection.
