10484 Native American Damacia Cordera Cochiti Pueblo Large Storyteller Figurine

This is a storyteller made by Cochiti artist Damacia Cordera (1905 - 1989).  It is signed on the bottom.  Damacia began making pottery around 1920.  Her work was featured in the Spring 1983 issue of American Indian Art Magazine, as well as in many noteworthy books covering American Indian pottery. This would be a nice piece to add to your collection from a noted maker.
